COMPASS is for students who want to explore their own potential and become more familiar with different ways of creating value in the world, so
- if you want to learn how to build a really useful competence profile,
- if you want to learn how to identify societal challenges that you can use your competences to solve,
- if you want to make a difference in the world using your education,
- if you are curious about creating something meaningful but unsure where to begin
then COMPASS gives you the tools and guidance to explore what drives you, what you care about, and how your knowledge could help you create something from it.
That “something” could take many forms. It could become a project, a freelance path, a social initiative, a creative practice, a research-based idea, a community, a future company, or simply a clearer sense of direction.
Our program consists of four elements:
- Creating room for possibilities
- Acting together with others
- Shaping meaningful responses
- Creating your personal COMPASS
Through workshops, reflection exercises, peer conversations and practical tools, you will explore questions such as:
- Understanding yourself: You explore your hidden strengths and interests to gain a clearer sense of who you are, who you can become, and what you can achieve.
- Sharing ideas and collaborating: You learn to identify the best people to work with and how to create compelling narratives about your ideas.
- Turning ideas into action: You learn how to develop ideas, think creatively, and create solutions.
You will leave with more clarity and a concrete next step, whether that means developing an idea further, exploring an independent career path, or simply becoming more aware of who you are and what you can create.
Dates and location:
The program takes place on the following Fridays from 13:00–17:00:
- September 25
- October 23
- November 13
- December 4
The first three modules are held at UKH and the last one at Kitchen. We encourage participation in all sessions to gain the full experience.
Everyone is welcome to join the program, regardless of background, experience, or field of study.
The program is free to attend. There are only limited spots available. So, please sign up no later than 23 September to reserve yours.
COMPASS is organized by LAB99, a new initiative that explores alternative ways of turning ideas, interests and ambitions into meaningful projects, and contributions to society.
