- Ensure clear oversight of key contractual matters such as milestones, payments and royalties.
- Manage amendments and support constructive renegotiations whenever needed.
The process step by step
Step 1: Commercialisation
- The researcher discloses an invention.
- Kitchen's business developers assess the invention's commercial potential.
Step 2: Licensing or Assignment
- Aarhus University licenses the rights to the invention or transfers ownership of the intellectual property to an existing company in return for financial compensation.
Step 3: Post Deal Management
- Kitchen's Post Deal Manager provides ongoing follow-up on contractual milestones, reporting requirements, financial matters and more.
Step 4: New Collaboration Opportunities
- We continuously identify new opportunities to expand and strengthen the collaboration.
