With its central location at the top of the University City and its raw and welcoming atmosphere, Kitchen is the perfect venue for events, conferences, workshops, seminars and informal hangouts.

Kitchen will be closed in weeks 28–30 (access is available to key card holders only).
The café will be closed in weeks 28–32.

Enjoy a coffee in our café

Visit our public café, located on the ground floor right by the main entrance.

The café offers a wide selection of sandwiches, salads and cakes, as well as coffee and cold drinks – all at student-friendly prices.

Parking

If you require a guest parking permit, please contact us at kitchen@au.dk no later than two days before your visit. We will then send you a link to register your parking permit.

Parking permits issued through kitchen@au.dk are valid only for the following parking facilities:

The underground car park at Peter Sabroes Gade 37 (entrance via the ramp by building 1840).
The underground car park at Peter Sabroes Gade 8.

Please note that you may only park if there is free AU bays available. Parking elsewhere may result in a parking fine.

There are accessible parking bays in both parking garages. Parking is only permitted with a correctly displayed, valid disability badge and a valid parking permit.

Please note: Your parking permit is valid for 12 hours from the time of entry.

Office spaces for AU entrepreneurs

Office spaces at Kitchen

Kitchen offers office space for our startups and spinouts.

The office spaces are free of charge and are allocated for periods of six months at a time.

To apply for office space, you must be part of Kitchen.

Level 2

Partnerhuset offers co-working spaces for startups and spinouts rooted in Aarhus University.

Tenants at Level 2 gain access to a flexible office environment where active peer sparring, mutual inspiration and a strong sense of community are at the core.

Many have previously been based at Kitchen, and Level 2 gives them the opportunity to take the next step in their development while still staying closely connected to Kitchen.
